Consider Me Very Fortunate

I have been a patient under the care of Dr. Vetter-Toalson, AuD, for over eight years. I decided to be tested after sixty-eight years. I’d known for years that I had a hearing loss. I was tested in grade school. I had a problem, but in the early 1950s no action was taken. When I received a draft notice in 1968, I was tested and found unable to serve due to being deaf to high frequency sound. I ultimately was tested because my mother needed hearing aids. Seeing mom get fitted I finally decided it was time to deal with my deafness. Dr. Vetter-Toalson had been recommended by mom’s assisted living facility. I got tested, I was referred to a ENT to confirm that there was no physical hearing problem. I was then fitted with hearing aids. After a tweak or two, I couldn’t believe all the sounds I’d been missing all my life. I feel blessed to have been lucky enough to be treated by this fine doctor. The ability to hear has changed my life. The care and concern provided at Chicago Hearing Services is immeasurable. When my wife finally agreed she had a problem off we went to Dr. Vetter-Toalson. Now we have a very happy home two geezer that can hear 👂 very well. We owe it all to our trusted Chicago Hearing Services.
